Disrespect the Caterpillar, Rave about the Butterfly

The bible says that life and death lies in the power of the tongue.(Proverbs18:21) Such a small member of our bodies holds extreme power. ( James 3:5) We have the power to speak life, positivity and we also have the power to speak death, negativity. Yet it seems like negativity wins the battle everytime. I certainly am guilty of speaking death into my life continually. I chop myself up, each and everyday, giving no nurture to bloom into something beautiful. Do you know what would happen if the caterpillar constantly gave negative self talk? I'll tell you it would never develop into the beautiful butterfly. So why do we kill ourselves in our own caterpillar stage? We have not yet developed into what we want or see ourselves to be, but it’s a process. A process that we have to go through and if we speak death into ourselves, we will never grow into butterflies. Think about it butterflies are beautiful and free. They fly and reach heights that caterpillars dream of reaching, but they understand that they must live as a caterpillar and struggle and bloom where they are planted until they become butterflies.

I know the caterpillar/ butterfly reference is somewhat of a cliche but, it was the best way for me to get you to understand. We have to go through to get through. Not only is that neccessary, but we must speak life into ourselves throughout the journey. Speak positive thoughts only and when you evolve into the woman you were always meant to be, you'd already feel like a conqueror because infact you are.

I have created some cards to assist you to speak life into yourself at any stage in life. I encourage you to use these daily to help you speak life into yourself as you grow into the woman God has ordered you to be. When ever doubt, fear, unworthiness or even insecurity tries to creep inside your mind combat it with words. Because remember life and death are in the power of the tongue. Get your cards here. You are who you say you are. Speak out loud who you are. Say it! Say it with ya chest. Be proud and most importantly speak life. Stop disrespecting the caterpillar (present self) because if you do, you’ll never know the butterfly (future self).
